About the British Business Bank
The British Business Bank is the UK government’s economic development bank, set up to make finance markets work better for smaller businesses across the country. Their core aim is to help SMEs start, grow, and thrive by improving access to finance.

Rather than lending directly, they work with over 200 partners, including banks, venture capital funds, and online platforms, to unlock funding opportunities that may otherwise be out of reach for small and growing businesses. They also deliver key government schemes like Start Up Loans and the Recovery Loan Scheme.

Whether it's early stage investment or scaling support, the British Business Bank plays a crucial role in supporting entrepreneurs and driving growth across the UK economy.
