Breakfast Plenary - 'The Next Wave'
Taking place from 7:30am until 9:00am on Wednesday, 04 February 2026 at P&J Live, the opening session of Subsea Expo will see panellists from across the subsea and energy sectors discuss the event theme, 'The Next Wave', sharing their insights on a range of topics.
Following the launch of the UK Government’s North Sea Future Plan in November 2025, and recently announced offshore wind AR7 awards, this breakfast session will garner the perspectives of regulators, operators, developers and contractors as they explore the opportunities, priorities, innovations and challenges that lie in the road ahead.
With clean energy targets set for 2030 and net-zero ambitions by 2050 for the UK alone, what does the energy industry, supported by the subsea sector and wider underwater industry, need to do to play its part in achieving these and ensuring energy security for the nation.
The panel will examine the growth opportunities in the UK offshore energy sector and the support required for the workforce to transition to future roles. They will also debate the short and long-term priorities that need to be considered to bring projects on stream within planned timelines, which can provide certainty to the supply chain.
This premium session offers discounted rates for exhibitors and GUH members who wish to attend.
Your ticket includes breakfast roll plus tea/coffee and this session will be held in the Blue Conference Theatre within the exhibition halls.
